No rushed appointments. No one-size-fits-all recommendations. Just dedicated time to understand your health and create a plan that works for you.

Starting with a new healthcare provider can feel overwhelming. You may be wondering whether you’ll have enough time to discuss your concerns or if your provider will truly understand your health goals.

At LEAP Integrated Health, we believe great healthcare starts with listening. That’s why our new patient appointments are scheduled for at least 60 minutes. We know that understanding your health story takes time, and we don’t want you to feel rushed.

We Start by Listening

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by your provider, who will guide your visit from start to finish. Our first priority is understanding why you’ve chosen to seek care.

Whether you’re looking for a new primary care provider, struggling with a chronic health concern, or simply seeking a more personalized approach to healthcare, we want to hear your story.

We’ll discuss your current concerns, previous medical history, medications, and any past testing or treatments you’ve received. If needed, we can request records from your other healthcare providers with your permission.

Looking at the Bigger Picture

At LEAP, we believe your health is about more than symptoms alone.

During your visit, we’ll ask questions about factors that can significantly impact your wellbeing, including:

  • Nutrition and eating habits
  • Sleep quality
  • Stress levels
  • Physical activity
  • Family health history
  • Lifestyle and environmental influences

We may also ask about what has worked for you in the past, what challenges you’ve faced, and what health goals matter most to you. This helps us create a plan that is personalized to your unique circumstances.

A Partnership in Your Care

We view healthcare as a partnership.

We encourage questions and want you to feel comfortable discussing your concerns and preferences. Together, we’ll explore options and develop a plan that aligns with your goals and values.

Depending on your needs, we may recommend tracking things such as sleep, nutrition, or symptoms between visits to help us gain additional insight into your health.

Physical Exams and Testing

Every patient is different, so no two first visits are exactly alike.

Depending on the reason for your appointment, we may perform a physical exam, order laboratory testing, review previous results, or discuss additional evaluations that may help us better understand your health concerns.

Any recommendations will be tailored to your individual needs and health goals.

Leaving with a Plan

One of our goals is to ensure you leave your appointment with clarity and direction.

Before your visit ends, we’ll review our findings and discuss next steps. These may include additional testing, lifestyle recommendations, supplement management, preventive care strategies, medications when appropriate, and follow-up appointments.

Most importantly, you’ll leave with a personalized plan designed around your health goals, preferences, and the realities of your daily life.
